D Framed Windows

Whether your home is modern or traditional, Universal Arches can manufacture a bespoke shaped window to match your precise requirements. Windows with a ‘D’ or Arched Shape are often chosen to emphasise the height of an opening, giving the building a feeling of grandeur and elegance.

With a subtle curve at the head of the window, D Frames are similar to an arched window, but have a wider radius. During manufacture, our shaped windows are fully welded and hand polished by our experienced fabricators, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing window with no visible joints.

uPVC shaped windows offer many benefits, they are easy to maintain, waterproof, durable, secure and stylish. At Universal Arches, we manufacture shaped window frames in a wide range of colours, including White, Cream, Light Grey, Anthracite Grey, Light Oak, Chartwell Green and Black. We can also offer one colour inside your home, with a different colour outside. Each of the colours are available in either a smooth finish or with an authentic woodgrain finish which closely replicates timber, but without the need for the regular maintenance of a wooden window.

For deliveries within 50 miles of our manufacturing facility in St Helens, we can supply bespoke shaped double glazed units.  For deliveries outside of that area we can supply glass sizes for you to source your own glazing.
